Faith Odyssey Curriculum
When we moved from traditional classrooms in 2003 to a Workshop Rotation Model format, we looked at available curriculum. Purchased curriculum in this format were scarce. The official website of the workshop rotation model (WoRM) provided many free options and some of the lesson plans here are adaptations from the ideas garnered from that site. Most of our curriculum we wrote ourselves, however. Leaders from the congregation decided which Bible stories we felt were most important for our children to know. Most of the actual curriculum was written by our co-pastor Rev. Lisa Martin. Pastor Lisa has led workshops for the Pennsylvania Southeast Conference of the United Church of Christ, and continues to be a resource for churches in this area who are interested in WoRM. She has been part of the writing team on the WoRM website and has contributed lesson plans and to the help forum. Many of these lesson plans appeared first on that site.
We are uploading curriculum resources as they are needed for our congregation. We hope to have the process completed by the end of 2012.
